Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist III, Building Maintenance to join our team at Bose. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's utilities, mechanical systems, and electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain utilities, including HVAC systems, water treatment systems, and process equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal requirements, and safety policies.
- Develop, maintain, and secure a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
- Recommend the purchase of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Assist engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
