About the Role: We're seeking a skilled Senior IT Technician to join our IT Department in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and equipment. Your primary focus will be on installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. You'll also be responsible for planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance work, setting up and maintaining staff accounts, troubleshooting issues, and checking computer equipment for electrical safety.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance work.
  • Set up and maintain accounts for staff.
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by staff.
  • Check computer equipment for electrical safety.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and solve computer software and hardware faults.
  • Repair equipment and replace parts.
  • Manage stocks of equipment, consumables, and other supplies.
  • Maintain records of software licenses.

The Ideal Candidate: We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical support. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills in English, and knowledge of networking concepts, server administration, and operations. You should also possess strong technical, logical, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should be patient, meticulous, and methodical in your approach, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. You should be able to work well under pressure, both individually and as a team, and have a strong enthusiasm for continuous learning.
