About the Role

The Data Analytics Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role at Citi, responsible for applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflows for resolving Data Quality Issues. This role integrates subject matter and industry expertise within Data Consumers and Data Providers, requiring an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the capabilities and products, as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates activities of the Data Concern Remediation Management team, identifies necessary resources, and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines and SLAs.
  • Verifies team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.
  • Determines scope and impact of projects risks and issues, identifies and solves data quality issues.
  • Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve data quality issues.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
  • Provides evaluative judgement based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
  • Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management, and formulation procedures; influences resource planning.
  • Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements
  • Experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.
  • Experience managing complex projects.
  • Strong overall knowledge of software development methodologies (i.e., agile, waterfall using SDLC).
  • Methodologies and tools (SDLC, Planview, PTS, Demand Management, Release Management, Information Security, Testing Quality Assurance).
  • Experience working in technology environments.
  • Financial Services (Banking) industry knowledge.
