Position Overview

Travel Requirements

This role involves extensive travel across various states in Mexico and the United States.

Candidates must possess a valid visa, passport, and driver's license, along with the ability to travel on short notice.

Role Objective

The Field Representative is tasked with the effective onboarding of new clients, primarily tiered suppliers, while fostering and sustaining robust relationships through proactive account management and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding

Establishing new accounts and providing comprehensive training to ensure seamless integration for customers and suppliers. Monitoring forecasts against actuals to uphold optimal inventory levels through regular reviews. Conducting account evaluations to detect shifts in customer behavior that may necessitate further investigation and resolution. Assisting in audits by collaborating with the Customer Inventory team and communicating findings to ensure accuracy in supplier records. Addressing and resolving customer inquiries, escalating issues as necessary. Engaging with customers and suppliers in the field to gather insights, collaborate on solutions, develop action plans, and fulfill customer experience commitments.

Account Management

Maintaining a strong focus on account health metrics and KPIs to ensure a well-managed supplier network associated with automotive programs. Performing ongoing account audits and reconciliations. Managing accounts receivable to ensure timely resolution of disputes and adherence to payment terms. Providing additional training and sharing best practices with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree. Familiarity with the automotive industry. Experience in customer-facing roles or account management. Background in logistics or supply chain management.

Skills & Competencies

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Capability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels. Dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes within specified timelines. Strong analytical capabilities. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of the automotive sector, market dynamics, and supply chain processes. Familiarity with CHEP Systems (SAP, CHEPTRAC, Siebel, Business Warehouse, Salesforce) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Supply Chain Management.

Experience Level

3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
