Seeking an experienced Insurance Development Senior Programmer Analyst to join our team at Citibanamex Seguros, S.A. de C.V., a leading financial institution in Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge insurance systems and applications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establishing and implementing new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas;
  • Monitoring and controlling all phases of the development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as providing user and operational support on applications to business users;
  • Utilizing in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgements;
  • Recommending and developing security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality;
  • Consulting with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommending advanced programming solutions, and installing and assisting customer exposure systems;
  • Ensuring essential procedures are followed and helping define operating standards and processes;
  • Serving as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts;
  • Having the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision;
  • Exercising independence of judgement and autonomy;
  • Acting as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members;

This is a full-time position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience;
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications;
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects;
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements;
  • Microservices and API development experience;
  • Microservices architecture definition experience;
  • OpenShift and containers experience;
  • SW development automation tools experience; and Advanced English proficiency.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
