Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment. As an Inbound/Outbound Area Manager, you will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team to achieve high levels of safety, quality, attendance performance, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates
- Communicate policies and procedures to Associates and ensure compliance
- Create and manage recognition and communication programs
- Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance
- Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
- Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
- Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements:
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts
- Ability to work overtime both in peak season and as needed
