We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives at our Querétaro facility. This role is responsible for process oversight and standardization to achieve business targets, focusing on customer and Oerlikon standards. The Process Engineer will identify, implement, and sustain process improvements, enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead continuous improvement activities using LEAN methodology and Quality tools to reduce waste and increase profitability.
- Liaise between CSC and PTT teams to implement new products and processes for seamless integration in Operations.
- Support Center Operation complexity in process control and reduction in associated costs.
- Develop a continuous improvement culture through training and strategy deployment at the production level.
This role requires close collaboration with Quality, PTT, Training, and CSC teams to release and support processes via the internal Quality Management System (QMS). The Process Engineer will support Operations personnel, including local Management, to drive improvement within the center.
Requirements:- Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, System Design, or Materials.
- In absence of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Certified Six Sigma and Lean professional.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use problem-solving tools such as Pareto Charts, SPC methodologies, and 8D.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to generate and present technical data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
