About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity to support our Mexico team as a Franchise Performance Manager. This role will play a key part in driving business growth and optimizing store operations for Subway franchise owners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and food safety guidance and education during restaurant visits, evaluating stores using the PBE model on a quarterly basis.
  • Document adherence to company compliance standards, improvements made, areas of opportunity, and direction on how to improve during coaching sessions.
  • Evaluate store performance compared to Subway policies and procedures, analyze sales and cost data, and provide customized direction to improve in these areas.
  • Review franchisees' portfolios and conduct regular business reviews to identify growth potential and areas for improvement.
  • Coach and counsel franchisees to reach individual store and territory goals, providing guidance on growing their business within the local community and through online sales and delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with franchisees by visiting assigned restaurants at least quarterly, communicating via various channels, and providing written communications.
  • Assist the Territory Director and shared services team with site reviews by conducting customer intercepts for all reviews within assigned areas.
  • Provide direction and proficiency to franchisees and staff regarding new store openings and transfer training hours.
  • Travel requirement: up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, business analysis, or an equivalent field-related experience.
  • 3-5 years of restaurant experience preferred.
  • The ability to learn technology initiatives and cascade this knowledge to others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and analyze business needs.
  • A high degree of detail orientation and the ability to work within a team, with a hands-on approach during in-restaurant visits.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and professionally, with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and networking skills, and a self-motivated attitude.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and detail-oriented, with basic conversational English skills a plus.

Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope, and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
