Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trial Patient Payment Associate II to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative, reporting, and financial support to the department related to the processing of payments to investigative sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile data from multiple sources to generate payments to sites in accordance with procedural documents and site contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to country-specific regulations that affect and impact the ability to pay.
  • Manage payment responsibilities and workflow to meet contracted timelines and project deliverables.
  • Build and manage relationships with study sites and interface with clients for payment-specific issues.
  • Respond to study-related escalations and resolve payment-related findings.
  • Educate study teams on site payment processes, including setting expectations around site payments' requirements and deliverables.
  • Process investigator payments in middleware and financial systems; manage refunds, credit notes, late payment fees, pre-payments, or investigator meeting reimbursements.
  • Build and enter budgets and SVTs; work on transparency reporting; perform study reconciliations; manage and maintain investigator funds trackers for studies transitioned to site payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years of verifiable experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
