About the Role:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for leading the accounting team in a luxury resort setting, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role requires a highly motivated and self-starter individual with excellent leadership skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounting team in a fast-paced resort environment, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the resort remains compliant and takes advantage of available tax incentives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a luxury resort or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of back office accounting systems and ability to work with all hotel systems.
  • Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
