Job Summary:

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Risk Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our Treasury Operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of banking operations, as well as the identification and follow-up of items in reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the proper recording of banking operations, including the identification and follow-up of items in reconciliation.
  • Ensure that all operations carried out by the treasury are correctly and timely in the administrator's accounting.
  • Permanently check the balance of checking accounts used by the administrator to perform proprietary customer transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with payment obligations in a timely manner, as well as the certainty that the balance in the current account is sufficient for this purpose.
  • Ensure that the balances of the vaults in Indeval contain the securities for the purchase of repo and that they support the investment made by the Afore.
  • Check the collection status of each of the customer payment instructions derived from the provisions of your individual account.
  • Check the age of each of the payment instructions, in order to proceed with their prior reinvestment reconciliation with the administrator's operations area.
  • Follow up on payment orders and checks for court awards, request the release of resources, and notify the cashing of checks.
  • Attend to internal and external requirements for audits and reviews by internal control areas.
  • Identify, document and monitor items in reconciliation, control and custody of bank statements.

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience of 1 - 4 years of experience in finance or accounting or a related control discipline.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding in your own field or discipline and basic knowledge of other business areas.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize, to capture the essence of different situations and events, taking into account the variables involved, so that useful and important information can be extracted.
  • General Knowledge of Business/Function: Investment Topics, MiddleOffice, Treasury, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Customer Service, Technology.
  • It is important to have knowledge of the regulatory policies that govern the industry and that are attached to the administrator's operational processes.
  • Experience in treasury, including asset and liability management, is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and precision are essential.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office in general.
  • Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of the organization.
