DMS Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled DMS Administrator to join our team at KION Group. As a key member of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) group, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting our DMS environment globally.

• Configure and install the KION DMS system after selection
• Design, build, develop, and maintain DMS Systems and integrate them with other systems
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the environment for efficiency and health
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and maintain API integrations to other environments
• Ensure data security and compliance per KION standards
• Implement and manage backup/restore procedures and best practices
• Document and develop best practices and expand our knowledge database
• Collaborate with peers, developers, product owners, management, and other departments to develop and deliver successful customer solutions
• Manage assigned cases and provide backline support to local and cross-functional teams
• Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design
• Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders
• Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience as a DMS Administrator with emphasis on Hyland Alfresco
• Desired experience in Documentum, OpenText, Enovia or other similar Document Management systems
• Expertise in Alfresco - CMIS, Alfresco - Web Forms, Alfresco Content Services, and Alfresco Process Services
• Experience with Alfresco Administration, Content Management, Integration, Optimization, Backup, Recovery, Trouble shooting and security Compliance
• Strong knowledge of ECM principles, Alfresco architecture, and Alfresco Community/Enterprise editions
• Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2)
• Strong problem solving; self-starter; detail oriented; excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines; desire to learn
• Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Experience working with global teams
• Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing, and presenting appropriate status reports
