About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate System Engineer to join our operational support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for mitigating the customer impact of issues, initiating action to determine root causes, and implementing problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer problems of low complexity and assess the scope of impact.
  • Mitigate customer impact of issues and execute workarounds.
  • Implement problem resolution as identified in documented solutions.
  • Engage others as appropriate and escalate as required.
  • Provide advice or training to users about the application systems' functionality, correct operation or constraints, and correct user faults.
  • Proactively monitor production and non-production environments and/or applications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or application problems of low complexity.
  • Work on smaller, minimally complex projects/issues that require a singular area of expertise.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with team members.
  • Manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities with guidance.
  • Aid the preparation of status updates for customer problems or projects.
  • Regularly communicate and share knowledge with the rest of the team.
  • Perform actions aligned with defined standards.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in IT infrastructure, application, and cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience supporting IT infrastructure, application, and cloud services. Additionally, experience in NOC, Windows, UNIX, or Storage administration would be an added advantage.

The candidate should have excellent understanding of ITIL process with appropriate fundamental accreditation and excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Strong collaboration skills are also essential.
