Job Summary

As a key member of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc.'s International Production team, the Executive Director of Future Content Strategy and Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's content strategy and development efforts in Latin America and the US Hispanic market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative content strategies to drive business growth and expansion in the region.
  • Lead the development of original content and new IP for the company, with a focus on scripted series for free-to-air and pan-regional cable television programming clients.
  • Collaborate with the production team to oversee the development process, from concept to greenlight, and ensure that projects meet the required quality and production parameters.
  • Identify and package elements to assist in the sale of scripted series to premium platforms.
  • Work closely with the creative team of each co-production partner or commissioning broadcaster to develop and package projects for sale.
  • Search for new talent, with a focus on screenwriters, directors, and creators relevant to Latin America.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in content development and production, with a focus on scripted series.
