At the LEGO Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Tax Operations and Compliance department, you'll play a vital role in supporting the timely and quality preparation of tax compliance within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support US & Canadian monthly tax compliance with reporting, reconciliation, and validation of tax returns.
  • Implement and maintain tax data quality policies and standards to ensure accuracy and consistency in tax-related data.
  • Collaborate with data owners and tax specialists to enforce tax data governance practices and responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain data transformation processes for tax-related data to prepare it for analysis and reporting.
  • Design tax-specific data validation checks to ensure compliance with tax regulations and avoid inaccuracies in tax reporting.
  • Build and maintain tax-specific dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide timely and accurate tax-related insights to partners.
  • Perform data analysis to identify tax trends, potential tax-saving opportunities, and tax-related risks.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant tax experience.
  • Experience in implementing internal controls related to tax processes.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, JD.
  • Ability to work independently to drive successful completion of projects, compliance objectives, and identification of operational improvements.
  • Previous experience with SAP, Blackline, Alteryx.
  • SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • English fluent level.
