Aviada Labs S.C. seeks an experienced Cash Application Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer payments, effective management of cash flow, and maintenance of detailed, organized records of all cash application activities.
Main Tasks- Accurately apply customer payments to respective accounts through various methods, including checks, credit cards, and ACH payments.
- Daily posting of payments into the accounting system, ensuring correct customer accounts, invoices, and transaction codes.
- Preparation and review of batches before sending to the lockbox; reconciliation of all lockbox files.
- Investigation and resolution of any unapplied or misapplied payments, collaboration with other accounting and customer service teams as required.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of all cash application transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support financial closing activities, including aged cash reports, unapplied cash reports, and reconciliation documentation.
- Process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy within cash application processes.
