Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic HR Analytics team. This role is perfect for an individual eager to start a career in data analysis and drive strategic decision-making with AI-driven applications tailored to HR processes and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Collaborate with experienced data scientists and HR professionals to design, develop, and implement AI models and applications for HR use cases, including predictive analytics, employee sentiment analysis, and workforce planning.
  • Data Collection and Preprocessing: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct EDA to identify trends and patterns in HR data, providing actionable insights for workforce strategy.
  • Model Development and Evaluation: Assist in training and evaluating machine learning models to support HR-related analytics.
  • Performance Monitoring and Maintenance: Help monitor model performance in production, making updates and retraining models as necessary to maintain accuracy and relevance.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, processing steps, models, and findings for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning, with familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Basic Knowledge of Machine Learning: Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms, with experience with libraries such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch being a plus.
  • Data Handling Skills: Some experience with data preprocessing and visualization techniques.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and tools in the AI and HR analytics domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or project experience in data analysis, AI, or HR analytics.
  • Familiarity with NLP techniques, especially for tasks like sentiment analysis.
  • Experience working with HRIS data or other HR-related datasets.
