About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our studios.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare preliminary forecasts for studio meetings and month-end reporting, ensuring accurate reflection of financial performance across regions.
  2. Financial Analysis: Consolidate and analyze the P&L of different territories, reconcile actuals vs prior forecast/budget/prior year, and provide variance explanations.
  3. Process Improvement: Work with studio FP&A to develop and implement efficient and accurate forecasting and analysis processes, and drive process simplification initiatives.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with local stakeholders, build and foster business relationships with business stakeholders, and provide coaching and support to direct reports.
Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 6 years' experience in forecasting and analysis, with a strong background in financial modeling and data analysis.
  2. Skills: Strong English verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Excel and other data analysis techniques, and experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.
  3. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the entertainment business, preferably in Consumer Products and/or Global Themed Experiences Industry.
  2. Accounting Knowledge: Strong Accounting knowledge, including experience with financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.
  3. People Management: People management experience, with at least 2 years of experience in managing teams.
