Job Summary
Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our Global Supply Network, you will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining assigned processes to produce output excellence, building expertise in process areas, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and maintain procurement and logistics data, including purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection reports, tooling records, supplier data/measurement, and inventory management.
- Implement local or regional sourcing strategies under the direction of experienced Buyers and professionals.
- Work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels to achieve business objectives.
- Assess and recommend solutions related to Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM).
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within a diverse global organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a university and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft and knowledge of some purchasing systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Conversational English is required.
