Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Incentive Plan Analyst to calculate incentive award payments to sales personnel and manufacturer reps based on incentive plan rules and guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, communicating, and administering incentive programs, plans, and policies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing incentive plans for Sales and a strong background in finance, business analysis, or business operations.

The role also requires knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI to manipulate and summarize large volumes of data using formulas, pivot tables, and power pivots.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administration of incentive programs, plans, and policies.
  • Calculates and validates incentive payments.
  • Reviews payment reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicates incentive payments to Micron Sales and Manufacturer Reps.
  • May analyze sales performance results, prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
  • Typically uses Power BI SQL model/queries, Power BI dashboards/reports, Excel, reporting tools, and/or ERP systems to gather data for payment calculation or analysis.
  • May contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data.
  • May perform analysis or modeling of alternative incentive plan designs.
  • Document business processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing incentive plans for Sales is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, business analysis, business operations, or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI to manipulate and summarize large volumes of data using formulas, pivot tables, and power pivots.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and SQL queries – ability to connect to servers, run jobs, extract and upload data.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and internal personal skills.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
