We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team at Kohler Co.
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting, developing, and coordinating the implementation of industrial safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomic, occupational health, security, and fire protection programs at our facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversees environmental, safety, occupational health, security, and fire protection policies
* Develops and promotes the implementation of corporate programs for environmental, occupational health, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, security, and fire protection
* Promotes the implementation of the corporate safety system (KSMS)
* Promotes the implementation of the corporate environmental/sustainability system
* Promotes the implementation of the corporate security and fire protection procedures or guidelines
* Promotes the implementation of the corporate occupational health procedures or guidelines
* Ensures that Kohler Sanimex meets environmental legislation and coordinates best practices in use at Kohler Plants in the United States
* Ensures that Kohler SFO meets industrial safety, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics legislation and coordinates best practices in use at Kohler Plants in the United States
* Ensures that Kohler Sanimex meets security and fire protection legislation and coordinates best practices in use at Kohler Plants in the United States
* Ensures that all personnel under his responsibility are updated and trained in their respective areas
* Maintains communication with government agencies to meet all requirements
* Implements educational programs focusing on environmental, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, occupational health, and security and fire protection
* Coordinates medical service personnel (medical doctor and nurses)
* Coordinates safety specialist personnel
* Coordinates environmental/sustainability engineer
* Coordinates security and fire protection coordinator
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (preference)
* Minimum 7 years' experience in supervisory/manager positions, responsible for safety, security, and environmental areas (manufacturing operations)
* Knowledge in occupational health
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software applications
* Ergonomic and industrial hygiene
* Bilingual (preference)
