We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team at Kohler Co. in Monterrey. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting, developing, and coordinating the implementation of industrial safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomic, occupational health, security, and fire protection programs at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee environmental, safety, occupational health, security, and fire protection policies.
- Develop and promote the implementation of corporate programs for environmental, occupational health, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, security, and fire protection.
- Promote the implementation of the corporate safety system (KSMS) and environmental/sustainability system.
- Promote the implementation of corporate security and fire protection procedures or guidelines.
- Promote the implementation of corporate occupational health procedures or guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and coordinate best practices in use at Kohler Plants in the United States.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics legislation and coordinate best practices in use at Kohler Plants in the United States.
- Ensure compliance with security and fire protection legislation and coordinate best practices in use at Kohler Plants in the United States.
- Train and update personnel in their respective areas.
- Maintain communication with government agencies to meet all requirements.
- Implement educational programs focusing on environmental, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, occupational health, and security and fire protection.
- Coordinate medical service personnel, safety specialist personnel, environmental/sustainability engineer, and security and fire protection coordinator.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in supervisory/manager positions, responsible for safety, security, and environmental areas (manufacturing operations).
- Knowledge in occupational health and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software applications.
- Bilingual preferred.
