Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Design Engineer to join our team. As a Packaging Design Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and directing activities related to the design and development of protective packaging containers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the introduction of new products and their proper industrialization, ensuring seamless support for the production floor.
  • Develop and direct the development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed packaging to present designs for approval.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications of products to determine physical characteristics, special handling requirements, safety needs, and material requirements for containers.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and production departments to determine costs and feasibility of producing proposed packaging.
  • Develop or direct the development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed packaging to present designs for approval, potentially involving customer or sales representative input.
  • Advise employers or customers on efficient packing procedures, innovations in packaging materials, and the utilization of sealing and fastening devices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in Packaging Engineering.
  • Intermediate fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, results-oriented approach, customer focus, time management, autonomy, honesty, and empathy.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts.
