Role Overview
As a Site Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement operations at your site. This includes managing vendor relationships, forecasting needs, handling inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the Regional Procurement Manager to ensure effective procurement operations, including forecasting for non-inventory products, managing inventory, conducting cycle counts, and overseeing supplier management.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of non-inventory items and indirect materials to promote best practices among site stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and benchmark procurement processes, including the creation of regular metrics reports.
- Foster relationships across the building and with the broader procurement network.
- Work closely with internal teams, finance, and procurement operations to understand budgetary goals and establish methods for measuring savings and value.
- Develop a category metrics model based on insights from the category team to track performance against the category strategy.
- Analyze actual versus planned savings, identify trends, escalate issues, and implement action plans as necessary.
- Maintain supplier scorecards to ensure performance standards are met.
- Support the Procurement Operations Excellence and Category Management teams in their initiatives.
- Oversee the management of regional delivery stations as required.
Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, particularly in planning or inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Fluency in business English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships.
