Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, managing customer expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure day-to-day and long-term needs are met.
  • Customer Service: Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implementation Team Collaboration: Work with the Implementation team to ensure successful opportunities and accuracy in our pricing program.
  • Rate Matrix Reviews: Participate in rate matrix reviews to ensure profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
  • Rate Calculations and Presentations: Participate in rate calculations, report preparation, and customer presentations for all large-spend bids.
  • Operational Tasks: Ensure customer commitments are met, working with internal teams and executing operational tasks as needed.
  • New Business Development: Identify, manage, and build new business relationships in the target market.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate and provide assistance to the Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
  • Database Management: Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
  • Client Support: Consult with clients to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Meetings Coordination: Coordinate prospect, sales, and current customer meetings working closely with the VP of Sales/CS.

Requirements:

  • Language: Advanced English is a must.
  • Team Management: Ability to coordinate teams focused on results.
  • Account Management: Proven track record with a strong focus on account management, setting appointments, presenting, and meeting with customers, pricing, proposals, and closing deals.
  • Experience: 6+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics field is preferred.
  • Education: Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required.
  • Additional Skills: Previous experience in an analyst role and/or in pricing function is an asset. Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them.
  • Complex Sales: Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset.
  • Sales Planning: Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills and strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
  • Independence: Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
