About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our Communications team at AWS LATAM. As a Program Manager, you will play a key role in defining and driving the communication strategy and long-term priorities for our Leadership team in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Strategy: Manage the content strategy for the designated business unit, partnering with cross-functional teams to define key themes, messages, and channels.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies.
  3. Communication Planning: Translate nuanced and complex business topics into communications content and strategies that drive engagement with our AWS employees.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, and/or PR.
  2. Experience: 7+ years' executive or internal communications experience, preferably at a high-growth, technology company.
  3. Skills: Knowledge/Experience managing comms campaigns on digital platforms like LinkedIn, Experience managing global stakeholders and unique cultural conditions, Strong leadership skills, and an innate desire to learn and be curious.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Language Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  2. Event Planning: End-to-end event planning and execution experience, with a high level of attention to detail and time management.
  3. Executive Communications: Demonstrated experience developing executive-level communications in various formats (e.g., blogs, executive presentations, whitepapers, etc.).
  4. Sales and Marketing: Experience leading communications within a sales or marketing organization.
  5. Cultural Change: Experience driving cultural change and influencing organizations through communications, from audience and stakeholder analysis through data and success metrics tracking.
  6. Communication Planning: Experience developing and implementing communication plans.
  7. Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  8. Content Creation: Experience creating content: digital, written, video, or visual communications materials.
