Job Description:

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Security Regional Manager to play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the direct supervision of Citi facilities, properties, and security staff as delegated by the Regional Director of Security.
  • Oversee security operations staff to safeguard premises and employees against risk of unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism, and opportunities for criminal activities.
  • Enforce security rules and safety standards, reviewing incidents and implementing corrective measures to reduce risk or exposure.
  • Ensure security procedures are enforced, and security personnel are trained to respond to emergency situations.
  • Interact with other departments on security and safety functions, conducting training and operational readiness exercises.
  • Maintain CSIS systems, staff, and equipment in a state of perpetual readiness to meet or surpass internal and external audit requirements.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of vendor and invoice management.
  • Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy, acting as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in security management.
  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience adhering to current security protocols, operations manuals, and guides.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships and interface with external agencies to promote functional excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience making sound judgements at a moment's notice.
  • Experience maintaining corporate assets, including lease vehicles and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of security vulnerabilities and preventative measures.
  • Experience working with security and safety technology.
  • Ability to follow security and safety instructions and procedures.
  • Relevant experience in a private/public sector security environment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
