About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Management Expert to join our team at Rackspace Technology. As a key member of our Information Security and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our global IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance and risk management programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • IT Risk Assessments: Conduct regular IT risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to our IT infrastructure.
  • Compliance Frameworks: Develop and maintain knowledge of various compliance frameworks, including PCI v4, SOC 1, 2, & 3, HITRUST v11, and ISO 27001.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement information security and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Training and Communication: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining information security and compliance.
  • Vendor Management: Conduct due diligence on vendors and third-party providers to ensure they meet our security and compliance requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on changing regulatory requirements and ensure that our organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Legal, to ensure that our security and compliance programs are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in information security and compliance, with a focus on leadership and policy development.
  • Active certifications in information security and compliance, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CFE.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remotely in the states of Ciudad de Mexico, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, Queretaro, Estado de Mexico, and Puebla.
