About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer Intern to join our team at Grid Dynamics International, Inc. As a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality assurance needs
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure software meets quality and reliability standards
  • Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and reliability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of test design and test theory
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  • Basic understanding of Git and version control
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Basic knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL
  • Basic knowledge of at least one QA automation framework/library
  • Basic knowledge of Selenium
  • Basic knowledge of design patterns
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and platforms
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
