About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at HSBC Mexico as an Assistant Manager (AVP) of Recovery and Resolution Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in submitting local resolution plans to local regulators as required and support the group in the submission of the Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF) self-assessment.
  • Review and interpret regulatory guidance related to Recovery and Resolution Planning.
  • Assist in Recovery Planning for local regulators and the Group RRP Office for submissions to the PRA.
  • Coordinate and support senior management in the bank's response to potential recovery or resolution events.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation approaches.
  • Lead the identification of local fire-drill requirements and training on RRP to ensure Recovery and Resolution understanding and readiness.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on recovery and resolution planning, including knowledge of internal policies and regulatory rules.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Recovery and Resolution Planning.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidance and internal policies.
