Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Associate Professional to join our team at Ingram Micro.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field and an equivalent amount of experience in information security. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform triage of incoming issues, assess priority, and determine risk.
  • Validate suspicious events and escalate alerts as needed.
  • Triage and investigate security events.
  • Manage incident intake, ticket updates, and reporting of cyber events.
  • Act as the first line of defense detecting and identifying cybersecurity events.
  • Investigate security notifications.
  • Analyze detected events to understand attack targets and methods.
  • Tune and implement configuration changes to security controls as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field with equivalent experience.
  • English proficiency (C1-C2).
  • One or more years of full-time professional experience in the Information Security field.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Managed Security Service (MSS), or enterprise network environment.
