Position Overview

HR Strategic Partner

We are pleased to announce an opportunity to become a part of our Human Resources team at International Flavors & Fragrances. In this role, you will report directly to the HR Director and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver effective support and solutions to our leadership and personnel across various operational sites.

This position serves as the primary resource for managers and employees, offering expert advice, coaching, and assistance on essential HR practices and employee-related inquiries. The role involves significant interaction with local, regional, and global leadership, with a requirement for proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-level coaching, guidance, and support to leaders and team members, emphasizing self-service and empowering management.
  • Provide timely responses regarding organizational change initiatives.
  • Offer a comprehensive range of strategic HR services for designated client groups, with overall accountability for formulating, directing, and coordinating HR strategies, policies, procedures, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate management's capability to navigate change processes effectively.
  • Position HR as a prominent and valuable business partner to local management and other critical stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to personnel matters, including legal quotas, local associations, governmental audits, and other regional obligations.
  • Manage union relationships effectively through discussion, consultation, and negotiation.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in HR roles within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong advisory, consultancy, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in a dynamic, multi-tiered organization with a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Ability to interpret various types of industrial agreements.
  • Proficient in employee relations and compliance management.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing customer service and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Capacity to think innovatively and challenge conventional boundaries.
