Job Title: Assistant Cost Manager

At Turner & Townsend, we're passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients. As an Assistant Cost Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Cost Managers in managing commercial aspects of projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing estimations for all design phases
  • Monitor and control valuations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Participate in value engineering sessions to optimize project costs
  • Analyze change orders and develop cost benefit analyses
  • Develop primary project budgets and progress measurement criteria
  • Support quotation processes and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Produce cash flow forecasts for internal and client purposes
  • Quantify materials and labor for all project phases
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of project components and construction costs
  • Ability to analyze and interpret commercial and technical project documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and commercial awareness
