About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ergonomics Specialist to join our team at Cummins, specializing in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for our Engine Components business in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ergonomic evaluations of workstations, equipment, and tools to identify potential risk factors and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Maintenance, to develop and implement ergonomic programs and initiatives.
  • Provide ergonomic recommendations and solutions to improve workstations, equipment, and tools, taking into account individual employee needs, job tasks, and ergonomic best practices.
  • Conduct Industrial Hygiene studies and follow up on areas of opportunity to ensure legal and corporate compliance with Mexican regulations (NOM-36-STPS & NOM-037-STPS).
  • Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to ergonomics, risk reduction, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Mexican ergonomics and industrial hygiene regulations.
  • Experience in ergonomic evaluation techniques, including Rula, Reba, Rodgers, NIOSH, and OCRA.
  • Proven experience in coordination and talent development.
  • Desirable experience in ergonomic analysis using virtual platforms (Human Tech, Tumeke, similar).
  • Required Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • Conversational English level.
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 10% per year.
