Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team at Kohler Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety, hygiene, and ergonomic programs at our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of safety, hygiene, and ergonomic programs
  • Coordinate the efforts of the safety committee and ergonomics committee
  • Participate in incident investigation and analysis
  • Provide training to associates on incident investigation and safety inspection processes
  • Perform planned safety inspections and provide follow-up on corrective actions
  • Participate in annual Corporate Compliance Inspections and provide follow-up on completion
  • Perform PPE assessments and participate in the creation and review of Job Safety Analyses (SOP/JSA)
  • Provide training to associates on SOP/JSA process

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: 4-7 years' work experience in safety, hygiene, and ergonomics preferred
  • Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
