Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Social Media Manager to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR and social media strategies to promote our brand, products, and services in the Mexican market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement PR and Social Media Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive PR and social media plans to increase brand awareness, engagement, and consideration among our target audience.
  • Manage Social Media Presence: Oversee the development and implementation of social media content calendars, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand voice and messaging.
  • Build and Maintain Media Relationships: Foster strong relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and content creators to secure media coverage, product placements, and partnerships.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our PR and social media efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize our strategies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of our brand message across all channels.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our PR and social media strategies remain effective and relevant.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations and social media management, preferably in the consumer-facing industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR and social media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and messaging.
  • Passion for gaming and building communities, with a deep understanding of the Mexican social media landscape.
  • Ability to work independently, think creatively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
