About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Trade Head to lead our Mexico team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple teams of professionals to achieve established goals and ensuring they adhere to best practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a technology strategy for Mexico TTS Trade, aligning with the TTS LATAM Trade roadmap.
  • Lead and deliver local staff forums, presenting global, regional, and location news and updates to engage the team.
  • Develop a vision for the team around roles and responsibilities, structuring the team for maximum impact and efficient resource use.
  • Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within your area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues.
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards.
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external parties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong technical knowledge in technologies such as Java, Spring, Relational SQL databases, and SQL databases.
  • Development experience in legacy technologies such as VB and Delphi is a plus.
  • Advanced English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in senior forums.
  • Experience managing transformation projects/programs, driving operational process change and improvements in a technology organization.
  • Experience in relevant and new technologies, management, and global technology teams.
  • Working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in delivering projects within a complex financial services environment.
  • Solid practical knowledge of Agile delivery and data analysis and presentation tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Portuguese is a plus.
