Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support to customers, resolving complex technical issues related to Cloud Infrastructure, IaaS, PaaS, and Database.
  • Issue Resolution: Work closely with customers to identify and resolve technical issues, utilizing support ticketing tools such as My Oracle Support (MOS) and JIRA.
  • Customer Advocacy: Represent customers on highly sensitive and escalated issues, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver training, knowledge sessions, coaching, and mentoring to enhance team knowledge and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze workload, identify best practices, and implement changes to improve team efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with stakeholders, including Service & Development, Incident Management, Operations, Account Management, Customers, and Partner teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Proven client-facing experience supporting enterprise customers.
  • Cloud Technical Support: Experience in cloud technical support and operations, including OCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • System Administration: Experience with Linux and system administration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cloud Concepts: Strong understanding of cloud concepts and platforms.
