Project Director

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring that objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead the project team to deliver agreed outputs/outcomes within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Project Team Management: Manage the project team on a day-to-day basis, defining, agreeing, and delegating team and key stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
• Project Business Case and Benefits Management: Support the project sponsor in preparing, gaining approval of, refining, and updating business cases that justify projects in terms of benefits, costs, and risks.
• Project Budget and Cost Management: Manage budgets for projects, controlling and reporting on forecasts, changes, and actual costs against budgets.
• Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance and decision-making for the delivery of projects.
• Project Plans and Controls: Design, consolidate, and document the fundamental components of projects, including scope, schedule, approach, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities, and quality requirements.
• Scheduling and Dependency Management: Develop, produce, and maintain schedules for project activities, taking account of dependencies, resource requirements, and constraints.
• Project Resource Management: Develop, implement, and update resource allocations plans needed for projects, taking account of availabilities and scheduling variances.
• Stakeholder and Communications Management: Identify and manage pertinent project stakeholder relationships, communications, and need for senior-level support.
• Project Risks and Issues Management: Identify and monitor project risks and issues, developing mitigating actions and escalating as appropriate.
