Key Responsibilities:

  1. Posting Daily Deposits: Process and post daily deposits against invoices, including checks, ACHs, and wires, ensuring accurate and timely application of payments.
  2. Intercompany Transactions: Process transactions to and from other ledgers, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  3. Credit Card Processing: Process customer credit card payments with sensitive information, accurately applying payments to the correct invoices.
  4. Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments received with department credit analysts, ensuring prompt resolution and accurate application of payments.
  5. Collaboration with Intercompany Accountants: Work closely with intercompany accountants and general accounting to ensure proper closeout of invoices and accurate financial reporting.
  6. Communication with Sales and Project Management: Communicate the status of accounts and payments to sales and project management teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely resolution of issues.
  7. Research and Resolution: Research unidentified payments for proper posting, ensuring accurate and timely application of payments.
  8. Month-End Closing Activity: Participate in month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reporting and reconciliation.
  9. Customer Service: Provide quality and professional customer service to all internal and external A/R personnel, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn company-specific software and systems.
