We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Production Planning Specialist in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a plant production schedule in Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) to support our established master production schedule strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing trade-offs in the production schedule to balance customer service and inventory.
  • Conducting rough-cut capacity planning to ensure resources are available to meet production plan.
  • Gathering information to ensure constraints are identified and factored into production plan.
  • Analyzing inputs affecting production plan and making appropriate adjustments to the plan; monitoring key metrics to ensure process remains in control.
  • Creating detailed product recovery plans as needed and communicating to organization as required.
  • FOLLOWING ALL COMPANY SAFETY POLICIES AND OTHER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WITHIN THE WORK AREA.
  • Ensuring compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.
  • Developing and implementing planning models to supply lean scheduling initiatives.
  • Maintaining planning parameters within MRP advanced Planning System.
  • FOLLOWING J&J AND EES RECORDS MANAGEMENT POLICIES FOR CONVENIENCE INFORMATION, RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULES, TRAINING AND EDUCATION, DOCUMENT HOLD NOTICES, RECORDS CLEANOUT, INACTIVE RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT, VITAL RECORDS AND THIRD-PARTY VENDOR IF APPLICABLE.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Generally, requires (0-2) years related experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Understanding of supply chain in an ERP environment and how it impacts customer service and inventory.
  • Experience with multi-site operations preferred.
  • Experience with the implementation and use of MRP and lean planning systems.
  • Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred.
  • GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to influence business partners to achieve metrics.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
