We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott in Mexico City. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events that exceed our guests' expectations.

Job Summary

The Event Coordinator will work closely with our sales team, chefs, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of events. You will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, including venue setup, catering, audio-visual equipment, and other details. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the success of our events.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Work closely with the sales team, chefs, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution
  • Meet with clients to discuss event plans and provide recommendations
  • Develop and implement event marketing strategies to promote our services
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage event budgets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, events management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of event planning software and technology
