The Opportunity:
Talent Acquisition at Maersk involves a range of responsibilities, including workforce staffing, recruiting, employer branding, talent sourcing, job advertising and posting, applicant evaluation and screening, interviewing and assessing, offer and contract generation, and executive search. Additionally, this role involves onboarding new colleagues or those transitioning into new roles.
Professional Stream:
Individual contributors in this stream focus on applying technical or discipline knowledge to achieve results, although they may also coach or mentor less experienced staff, provide informal supervision, or oversee the work of lower-level professionals or manage processes and programs. Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for on-time delivery of talent to the business through effective utilization of sourcing strategies
- Build trusted partnerships with business and HR stakeholders to understand and cater to hiring needs, capabilities, and knowledge requirements and gaps
- Lead the delivery of a seamless recruitment process to the organization, contributing to process improvement measures essential for future HR transformations
- Develop and nurture potential leads through relevant hiring communities and events
- Deliver superior hiring manager and candidate experiences
- Generate brand recall for Maersk as an Employer of Choice by driving and supporting the talent attraction strategy catering to varied candidate segments
- Advocate and champion diversity and university hiring initiatives to enable Maersk to achieve its diversity ambition
- Talent Advisor to the business on talent demographics, market, and competitor intelligence
Requirements:
- 4 to 7 years of recruiting experience
- Knowledge and proven track record in implementing candidate engagement initiatives, executing digital campaigns
- Thought partnership, detail, result orientation, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills
- Experience recruiting on a regional level is required
- Excellent English skills
- Candidate-centric mindset
- Understanding of the importance of a strong employer brand in recruitment
- Track record in implementing Diversity & Inclusion at the core of Talent Acquisition & Attraction initiatives/projects
- Structured work approach and a focus on delivering results
- Excellent communication skills, ability to navigate complex stakeholder matrix, and to foster long-term relationships with internal teams, clients, and candidates
