About Echelon Risk + Cyber:

We are a cybersecurity company that defends the basic human right to security and privacy. We are looking for a motivated student to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) and People Ops team as a Cybersecurity Talent Acquisition Specialist.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to kickstart their career in talent acquisition, consulting, or cybersecurity operations. As a Cybersecurity Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be crucial in growing our team, supporting end-to-end recruitment activities, and gaining hands-on experience in sourcing specialized cybersecurity profiles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full recruitment cycle for Cybersecurity profiles, including job postings, sourcing, contacting, filtering, and evaluating candidates based on job descriptions and role requirements.
  • Build Talent Pipelines: Develop and maintain active and passive candidate pipelines using diverse hiring platforms, such as LinkedIn (Boolean searches), local job boards, user groups, candidate referrals, networking events, and web sourcing.
  • Conduct Technical Screenings: Perform technical screenings to assess candidate skills and experience based on the specific requirements of the roles.
  • Coordinate Interviews: Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews with internal technical teams, hiring managers, and stakeholders via MS Teams.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition Events: To attract top talent, participate in both on-site and online talent acquisition events.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, and human resources.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hiring platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, and virtual meeting tools (MS Teams, Zoom) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Advanced level of English, both verbal and written.
  • Authorized to work in Mexico
