At Verizon, we're shaping the future of technology and communications. As a Senior Technology Consultant, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on System and Technology projects that support our Strategic Partnership Channel.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the technology setup of new sites, movement of work, and exits across our external business partners providing call center services to Verizon.
- Ensure and track all system-related tasks and deliverables, and engage appropriate team members to ensure timelines are met.
- Support outage management and help mitigate risks with our Strategic partners.
- Coordinate with Strategic Partner Information Technology and Network teams on firewall and network enhancement requests.
- Identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency, and lead change to drive improvement.
**What We're Looking For:**
- You're analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- You're a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently, but also thrive in a team environment.
- You're a highly effective communicator and listener, with a passion for finding opportunities to improve processes.
- You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work alternate schedules to support overnight system and network changes.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience in working with Outsource partners.
- Knowledge of Mobile and FIOS systems (e.g., ACSS, Optix, Live Engage).
