Job Summary

The HSE Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental performance of the site is in line with Nutreco's policies and procedures. This includes implementing and maintaining the HSE management system, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance and support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance and progress
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and address HSE concerns and issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of strong environmental and/or safety experience in the manufacturing operations
  • NeBOSH General/International Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  • Confirmed ability to deliver processes effectively to optimize business resources
  • Strong project management skills
  • Basic business acumen and the ability to partner and communicate effectively with employees and business counterparts

Working Environment

The HSE Advisor will work closely with the HSE team and management to ensure the site's HSE performance is in line with Nutreco's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
