Technical Asset Manager Solar Renewable Energy

Job Description
The successful candidate will lead the fulfillment of technical asset management contracts for solar renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating technical performance of client sites and identifying areas for improvement;
- Providing engineering consulting services, including drawing and design review, construction and commissioning consulting services, and performance analysis of underperforming sites;
- Tracking equipment and data outages and implementing measures to reduce frequency and duration;
- Analysis and feedback on spares strategy;
- Root cause analysis and problem resolution;
- Monthly reporting of site performance metrics;
Additional responsibilities include leading the creation of new standard operating procedures, drafting and reviewing technical analyses, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences, and providing leadership and coaching to other members of the technical asset management team.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the solar / renewable energy industry, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Key Qualifications & SkillsTo excel in this role, the candidate should possess strong oral and written communication skills, be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
The successful candidate will also have experience in data analysis and reporting, as well as technical knowledge in PV plant performance analysis, electrical design, solar industry best practices, energy storage concepts, substation concepts, module/inverter/tracking system technology, and electrical and solar equipment testing procedures.
Compensation PackageWe offer an attractive compensation package, including an estimated salary of $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
