Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Adidas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enforcing company safety policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable global, regional, and local regulations, and supporting the implementation of health and safety initiatives and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain effective safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential safety risks to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and Maintain Safety Policies: Create, update, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols to ensure a culture of safety within the organization.
- Monitor and Report Safety Performance: Monitor and report on safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and facilities, to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Advanced Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform safety decisions.
