About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Products Manager to join our team at Johnson & Johnson. As a key member of our supply chain leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all manufacturing activities and programs within the Therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day manufacturing operations and interact with Materials Management in their areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of transfer plans.
  • Support the implementation of new technology and products in the Therapeutic area in accordance with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Establish G&O and develop plans for direct managers assigned to the Therapeutic area.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve all business processes under your supervision.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations with responsibility for the production of products at the lowest cost, consistent with quality control specifications and production schedules.
  • Develop and participate in strategic decisions of the plant, its division, and the company.

Qualifications:

  • Full technical and administrative responsibility to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate areas of responsibility.
  • Establish operational goals and objectives in line with corporate strategies.
  • Prepare programs for projects and coordinate activities to ensure corporate goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of world-class manufacturing standards.
  • Maintain liaison between individuals and areas within or around your organization, with responsibility to act independently on techniques or issues related to your area.
  • Implement target systems and procedures to ensure equipment and machinery meet operational performance and utilization requirements.
  • Review machinery and equipment requirements based on production schedules.
  • Determine and monitor the implementation of capital goods improvements.
  • Ensure the introduction of new products in compliance with operational G&O.
  • Monitor the master plan as it relates to the IGF.
  • Understand Materials and Logistics Management.
  • Identify needs and coordinate the development and support of systems, i.e., Materials Management, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Information Management, and Interdependent partnering.
  • Ensure the right level of manufacturing, materials, and personnel.
  • Develop all capital investment and operational expense budgets that support business needs.
  • Provide analysis of variance and corrective actions.
  • Understand the precepts of the Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ensure compliance with ISO and QSR regulations.
  • Make decisions based on an understanding of multiple departments and the relationship between them.
  • Foster relationships by influencing the entire organization to unify criteria.
  • Manage the operation to ensure the achievement of CIP and COGS initiatives.
  • Understand and implement Signature of Quality (SOQ), Lean Mfg., and Process Excellence (six sigma) methods.
  • Provide leadership to meet the challenges of Diversity.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of environmental, safety, and health programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage Manufacturing Managers (where applicable), Manufacturing Supervisors, Receipt Inspection Supervisors (where applicable), generating development plans that encourage permanence in the company.
  • Responsible for all labor matters of administrative employees.
  • Responsible for developing subordinates and encouraging them to use their full potential.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related matters or opportunities to the next managerial level.
