Job Summary:
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment for our employees and contractors. You will be responsible for detecting risks and behaviors, directing staff to maintain good safety practices, and investigating accidents and incidents to determine their causes and mitigate them. You will also be involved in safety brigades and committee work, as well as supporting the implementation of quality and EHSS systems management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the detection of risks and behaviors to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide timely detection of high-risk operations and direct staff to maintain good safety practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes and mitigate them.
- Authorize and monitor risk jobs performed by employees and contractors.
- Participate in safety brigades and EHSS committees.
- Support the implementation of quality and EHSS systems management.
Requirements:
- Professional degree or technical career.
- 2-3 years of related experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry preferably.
- Knowledge of government obligations regarding industrial safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety operations.
- Experience in managing work groups.
- Computer knowledge (Office).
